Programme Manager - Pavilion Dance
The role of the Programme Manager is to create and sustain local, regional and national partnerships with a range of agencies and cultural providers in the interests of developing an original and high quality programme that maximises the scope and reach of Pavilion Dance. Ian devises the programme of regular classes & other courses, creates strategies for engagement with schools, children & young people, older people, local & community groups through a range of learning and participation opportunities.

Kirsty Biggenden
Children and Young People's Dance Lead
The role of CYPDL is to develop innovative opportunities in dance for young people in Bournemouth and Poole. Working in collaboration with schools, youth services, local artists and most importantly young people. The role is also to act as a primary link for Youth Dance England, communicating and delivering national youth dance initiatives to the local area, for example events such as: UDance 2012, Big Dance 2012 and the Cultural Olympiad.

Participation Dance Lead
The role of the Participation Dance Lead is to lead on developing the programme of regular dance classes, courses and other events as well as working with local and community groups. The role will also widen engagement across specific target groups, such as adults and older people, through a range of learning and participation opportunities.

Jo O'Connell
Marketing & Communications Manager - Pavilion Dance
The role of the Marketing & Communications Manager is to promote and raise the profile of Dance South West / Pavilion Dance locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. Jo is responsible for developing the branding & communications strategy and the promotion & marketing of Pavilion Dance performances & programmes to maximise audience participation. The role includes commissioning and production of promotional materials, managing the organisation’s website & online promotional activity, building relationships with the press & media, and increasing awareness of Pavilion Dance in the local public.

Louise Moody
Front of House Manager – Box Office & Hires
The role of FOH Manager is to facilitate the smooth running of Pavilion Dance operations by ensuring that the highest standard of customer service is offered to all visitors. Louise manages the box office system while taking responsibility for the appearance and presentation of the Foyer and other spaces in the venue. Louise also manages external bookings and leads on the outreach and promotion of Pavilion Dance for commercial hires. The role includes obtaining operating licenses & permits and managing travel & accommodation for artists.

Andrew Christie
Front of House Manager – Facilities & Technical
The role of FOH Manager is to facilitate the smooth running of Pavilion Dance operations by ensuring that the highest standard of customer service is offered to all visitors. Andrew takes responsibility for house management including fire & security systems, health & safety, general maintenance and technical running of events. Andrew serves as the link with BH Live operations and maintenance staff as well as takes the lead on recruiting volunteers and managing student work placements.

Marianne Lucken
Marketing Officer
The role of the Marketing Officer is to assist the Marketing & Communications Manager with the promotion of Dance South West as a regional agency and with Pavilion Dance as a national dance centre. Marianne is responsible for updating the Dance South West website with the latest news and opportunities from around the region, and also works with the Children and Young People’s Lead to create and distribute monthly newsletters for the youth dance community. The role includes maintaining and improving the database in order to communicate information, opportunities and resources to key participants across the region.

Charlotte Carosin and Beverley Cross
Front of House Assistants - Pavilion Dance
The role of the Front of House Assistant is to support the entire FOH team by welcoming all visitors, answering enquiries, taking messages and operating the box office to offer the highest level of customer service. Beverley & Charlotte will assist in the general presentation & preparation of Pavilion Dance spaces for various events as well as offer logistical support to visiting artists.

Cally Black
Technician
The role of the Technician is to supervise and direct the technical running of any event which contributes to the Pavilion Dance programme, including dance, music, film, conferences and special events. Cally will also provide technical support to clients hiring spaces within Pavilion Dance, including setting-up and striking technical equipment.

Judy Hooper
Finance Officer
The role of the Finance Officer is to provide an effective and efficient administrative support to the Finance & Operations Director. It includes the processing of financial activity using Sage 50 accounts, managing Petty Cash, overseeing purchase requisitions and office stationery requirements, reconciling bank accounts, and classifying & entering Box Office receipts. Judy will also monitor budgets and comply with financial reporting requirements for specific national and international projects.
