Dance in Devon aims to:
- help dance be as good as it can possibly be throughout Devon
- be the first point of contact for all those involved in dance in Devon
- help existing and emerging professional dance artists and companies
- develop more opportunities for everyone in Devon to participate in dance activities
We do this by working in partnership with:
- dance artists
- venues & promoters
- sports development officers
- teachers in schools, in FE & HE
- Local Authority departments - arts development officers, youth services, social services, health services, education
- other arts organisations
Dance in Devon delivers:
- Dance-ing-Devon, annual dance festival
- professional training and development for dance professionals
- opportunities to perform, to participate and to experience high quality dance all over the county
- information, advice and guidance
- promotion, marketing and advocacy for dance
