Dance South West

Dance in Devon aims to:

• help dance be as good as it can possibly be throughout Devon
• be the first point of contact for all those involved in dance in Devon
• help existing and emerging professional dance artists and companies
• develop more opportunities for everyone in Devon to participate in dance activities

We do this by working in partnership with:

• dance artists
• venues & promoters
• sports development officers
• teachers in schools, in FE & HE
• Local Authority departments - arts development officers, youth services, social services, health services, education
• other arts organisations

Dance in Devon delivers:

• July is Dance Month! A celebration of Dance in all its forms
• Continuing professional development and training for dance professionals throughout their career
• opportunities to perform, to participate and to experience high quality dance all over the county
• information, advice and guidance
• promotion, marketing and advocacy for dance
