Dance South West

Plymouth Dance Update  

June Gamble has been appointed as the Coordinating Producer for Plymouth Dance. This is a part time position, so she will continue her work locally and nationally as a coach, trainer and facilitator. 

"I am very excited by the chance to use the experience, knowledge and contacts that I have gained during my career as a Dancer, Dance Manager, Dance Development Consultant and Life & Business Coach, to join up the existing dots and celebrate Dance in Plymouth.  

My role will involve connecting, creating and extending dance opportunity in Plymouth. 

The majority of my dance training and experience as a dancer took place in Plymouth and I am looking forward to working in my home town where a rich and unique Dance ecology exists and continually evolves." 

Plymouth Dance is managed by a Steering Group with representatives from Theatre Royal ,The Barbican, Attik Dance, Plymouth University, Dance South West and independent artists with Plymouth City Council and  Arts Council England South West as observers.
