What better way to start the New Year and cast off your post-Christmas blues? Join English National Ballet dancers for a 20 minute ballet warm up off the ice to music from Strictly Gershwin; English National Ballet’s production celebrating George Gershwin and the sparkling age of Hollywood music and dance.

Then join fellow skaters and our expert ice dance coach on the ice where you’ll learn to perform a skate routine to Strike up the Band.

Session Time:12.30-13.30 (off rink warm up at 12.00-12.20, skates on 12.20-12.30)

As part of Skate School 2011-12, Somerset House are proud to be partnering with Big Dance and English National Ballet - West London's Big Dance Hub. Over the Skate season the English National Ballet will be staging two productions at the London Coliseum, The Nutcracker, 8 – 30 December 2011 and Strictly Gershwin, 4 – 15 January 2012.
