What We Do

Joining up dance across the South West

Dance South West is the regional strategic agency for dance, bringing together a network of partners in order to enable people in the South West to make watch and take part in dance.

Dance South West supports the individual partner agencies in their work, joins up the agencies for special projects and delivers its own programme. Dance South West was launched in 2004 in order to combat the isolation experienced across such a large region by creating a ‘joined-up’ or networked approach to development and partnership.

Dance South West is funded by Arts Council, South West and a range of other partners including the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation and the National Trust.
