Youth Dance is thriving and is on the brink of an exciting new phase. Following the publication of the Tony Hall report and the subsequent announcement of an investment of £5.5 million over the next three years, Dance South West will be hosting the Youth Dance Strategy Manager who will play a vital role in sustaining the regional network on behalf of Youth Dance England.
Dance South West works with a wide range of partners within schools, youth services, sport, and health for the benefit of young people and dance.
Dance South West (in partnership with Swindon Dance) is also developing a second-phase Centre of Advanced Training (CAT) model for young people who have been identified as having exceptional talent in dance. Dance South West is working towards establishing a new centre in the South West early 2009.
